Care guide
Every piece is made from natural shells and hand-strung beads on coated stainless steel wire, so a little care goes a long way.
Keep it dry
Take your piece off before showering, swimming or exercising. Water, especially salt or chlorinated water, can dull the shell's finish and wear the wire coating faster.
Lotion and perfume first
Put on lotion, sunscreen and perfume before your jewelry, not after. They build up on the shell and beads and can cause discoloration.
Store it flat or hanging
Keep it in a soft pouch or flat in a jewelry box, out of direct sunlight, rather than balled up in a drawer. That prevents tangling and keeps the wire from kinking in one spot.
Clean gently
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Skip harsh chemicals, jewelry cleaners and ultrasonic cleaners, which damage natural shell and the wire's coating.
Handle with care
Each shell is natural and one of a kind, which also means it is more delicate than manufactured material. Try not to catch the necklace on clothing, and store it away from heavier jewelry that could scratch it.
